The processing office may request an interview after the application is initially processed. They may also request additional information or documentation at this time.
They will make a decision after reviewing the application and interview process. If approved for a renewal, they will issue you a Permanent Resident Card and mail it to you. You will receive a letter of explanation by mail should your application for renewal be denied.
