For citizens of the United States, Canada, and many other countries, a visa for Peru is not required if you intend to visit the country as a tourist for up to 90 days. If you are traveling for business, you will most likely need a Peru business visa, regardless of your country of origin.

If you must obtain a visa for travel to Peru, be prepared to provide the following documents: The 2 application forms (can be downloaded and printed), your valid passport, your departure tickets for return to your home country or onward travel, 2 passport photos, and proof of funds to support your stay in Peru. You must present all of these original documents, in person, at your nearest Peruvian Embassy or Consulate office.
